Queen’s Day 2012

For those who aren’t familiar: on Queen’s Day (which is NOT the queen’s birthday), every citizen is given a free market license, turning the country into a giant yard sale.

Days in advance, folks (mostly kids) stake out prime plots along the city’s high streets and spend the day hawking second-hand bric-a-brac for a pittance.

I love it so much.
